Lockers

Lockers are used in a wide variety of settings. Most people associate lockers with schools, however they can be found in places such as airports, apartment buildings, gyms, offices, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, ect..

Lockers can be broken down into two types; Knocked Down and All-Welded. The knocked down lockers are unassembled, although factory assembly is usually available at an extra cost. The all-welded offers all parts rigidly welded in place in predetermined groupings. When delivered, they are ready for leveling, anchoring and trim, if desired.

Lockers come in an assortment of configurations such as single tier, double tier, multiple tier box lockers, 2 person lockers and more. Single tier lockers offer maximum space for full hanging of clothing and other belongings. Each locker has a shelf for storage of hats, books or other small articles. Double tier lockers accommodate twice as many people as the single tier in the same floor space. They provide enough room for light outer wear and personal belongings.

The multiple tier lockers are compact in dimensions allowing for multiple users in the smallest amount of floor space. These are ideal for storage of athletic gear or personal storage. A 2 person locker provides full length convenience in a small amount of floor space for two people. Each compartment contains a narrow shelf at the top.

Lockers can have an opening height of 8" up to 72". Width and depth ranges from 12" to 24".

The construction of the lockers can vary depending on the type of ventilation and appearance you are striving for, such as a solid smooth finish with ventilation slots in the top and bottom flange or with a high degree of ventilation and strength, or where visual inspection of locker contents is desired. The door handles which can be recessed or externally mounted, frequently accommodate locks for security purposes. The lockers can come in many different colors to blend or match most any decor.

Locker accessories can include slope tops, closed bases, recess trim, mirrors, locks (both built in and add-on, such as a padlock). ADA lockers are also available.
